Ranchi, April 15: Accused architect Vinod Singh, considered an associate of former CM Hemant Soren in the land scam case, has approached the High Court.
Vinod Singh has filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the High Court. It has been reported in the news that Vinod Singh, through his lawyer, has filed a petition for anticipatory bail in the special court of Ranchi PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act). There is also news that the High Court will hear Vinod Singh’s petition on Tuesday.
Incidentally, ED has filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) in the land scam case related to Hemant Soren. The High Court has also taken cognizance of this.
On March 30, ED officers filed a Prosecution Complaint (PC) in the special court of Ranchi under PMLA (Prevention of Money Laundering Act). In this case, former Chief Minister Hemant Soren, as the main accused, and Bhanu Pratap, a land revenue employee of Bargain area, are currently lodged in judicial custody in Birsa Munda Central Jail.
