land mafias will be evacuated from occupied land: CM

Ranchi, Aug. 2: Chief Minister Raghubar Das on Tuesday said that if a poor family is living on a particular land for a very long time, the govt. will conduct a survey with a view to regularize them but the land mafias will have to vacate land if occupied.

He said that matters related with land litigation will be solved in the next three months on mission mode by conducting camps at circle level. A calendar will be made for this. Camp will also be conducted to include farmers in Pradhan Mantri Fasal Beema Yojana.

He said it while addressing Kissan Samvad Program conducted by Agriculture, Animal Husbandry and Cooperative Department. Representatives from all over the state had come to participate in this program.

The CM said that a committee has been constituted to decrease the lease rate of khas mahal land. Complaint should be registered on 181 against those mukhiyas who do not conduct gram sabha every month.

He told the farmers not to get misguided as many people do not want them to prosper. He said that nobody�s land will be acquired without their consent. School, road, hospital, canal etc. will be constructed in villages which finally will benefit them.

Canals and check dams will be made in the villages to irrigate the fields controlling migration from the state. Girls will be trained to do small works and B. Sc. boys and girls will be trained in diploma courses and connected with health centers. Nursing colleges are being started in nine districts.

The CM said that such Samvad Programs should be conducted on every six months. The farmers will be contacted at three month intervals to tell their problems to the govt.

Water to every field and work to every hand are his priority. Seeds for fisheries will also be provided. The government is also considering allowing purchase of commodities on PPP mode so that the farmers get full rate of their yield.

Das said that panchayat secretariats will be formed before August 15 in the state. Villagers will get necessary certificates comfortably through it.

This secretariat will identify real beneficiaries for Indira Aawas and agricultural equipment. He said that the issues of villagers related with Swarn Rekha project will be sorted out.

The CM discussed many things with the villagers. It was suggested in the meeting that license for brick chimneys should be given with the condition of leveling the soil so that the land can be used later.

The formation of farmers� school at panchayat level was also considered. The govt. agreed to open a complaint center in every haat.

Agriculture Minister Randhir Kr. Singh, Revenue and Land Reforms Minister Amar Kr. Bauri, chief secretary Raj Bala Verma, principal secretary, Forest and Environment Department Sukhdeo Singh, Agriculture secretary Nitin Madan Kulkarni, Revenue secretary K. K. Son and people in good number were present on this occasion.
