Lalit Sharma elected President of Chaibasa Chamber of Commerce and Industry

Chaibasa, Sept 27: Lalit Sharma was elected the President of Chaibasa Chamber of Commerce & Industry during the election held on Sunday.

As the results were announced at 8 pm, Lalit received 167 votes while his rival Vikash Chandra Mishra received 98 votes and fell short of 69 votes. The new office�bearers of the chamber were elated as they celebrated the occasion with zeal.

The New team comprises of Secretary Madhusudhan Agarwal who received 188 votes defeating his rival Pankaj Agrawal (78 votes) by 110 votes. Dilip Khandelwal received 174 votes and Vikas Goel got 137 votes as both were elected the Joint Secretary of the Chamber.

Two post of Vice-Presidents were filled by Anand Vardhan Prashad and Pawan Khirwal as they received 201 votes each. Treasurer Binod Kumar Dahmiya won by 62 votes whereas executive posts were occupied by Shivu Lal Agarwal with 209 votes, Ritesh Chirania, Anup Joshi, Nitin Agrawal, Babulal Vijaywargia, Anil Jethwa, Sanjay Dodrajka and Ghaneshyam Mudra .

Earlier, Chambers of Commerce and Industries election ended peacefully and result was also declared by chief election officer Anup Sultania at 8 pm. A new young team has emerged to take forward the vision of the chamber implement the aims and objectives of the Chamber as many issues are still lying attended despite enormous potential of West Singhbhum District.

After the win, President Lalit Sharma said, the new team will raise the issue of closed mines in West SinghBhum District as it badly affects the business in the region. He added that construction of new house for chamber of commerce will be on priority list.
