Jamshedpur, Sept. 14: Lajpat Public School celebrated �Hindi Diwas� in the school premises on 14th September. On the occasion Hindi Elocution contest was organized.
The programme was inaugurated by the principal of the school Ranjit Ghosh who informed the students about the importance of Hindi.
This was followed by the elocution contest where students divided into 4 groups A , B ,C and D recited poems collective and individually.
All students presented their best and selected poems. The winners in different groups were felicitated. In Group D Aman Kumar of class 7 was declared the winner. Kasish Kumari won the 2nd Prize, and Shalu Kumari (VI) came 3rd. The Judges for the event were Sonudeep Choudhary, coordinator and Arti Kumari. The Principal Ranjit Ghosh the Staff and all the students were present at the function.
