Jamshedpur, May 14: L Town CC defeated Rural Blues by 67 runs in the A Division T20 League match played at Keenan Stadium on Wednesday.
After winning the toss, L Town CC elected to bat first and scored 150 for 7 in 20 overs. Ayush Kumar top-scored with 36 runs off 35 balls, while Himanshu Kumar added 25 runs. For Rural Blues, Akhilesh Kumar claimed three wickets.
In reply, Rural Blues were bowled out for 83 runs in 15 overs despite a quick 17-run knock by Nishikant Kumar.
Ayush Kumar starred with the ball as well, taking 4 wickets for 15 runs, while Sonu Kumar Singh picked up 3 wickets for just 6 runs. Ayush Kumar was named Man of the Match.
