Kush Jayanti celebrated in Gamharia

Gamharia: Kush Jayanti was celebrated with fervour at Shehnai Bhavan in Chhota Gamharia on Monday. A function was organized under the aegis of Kushwaha Sangh, Seraikela-Kharsawan, on this occasion. The chief guest of the programme was JP Verma, MLA of Gandeya.

Addressing the gathering, the chief guest said only education could lead to the development of the society and the nation into more civilized entities. He said that every community and every family should stress on imparting best education to their members.

He said the people should remain united in order to draw from their collective strength.

Verma paid homage to Lord Kush by garlanding his portrait. He also lit the ceremonial lamp to inaugurate the programme.

Also present on the occasion was Om Prakash and Manju Kumari who too, stressed on educational awareness and cultural unity.

Among others present during the programme included Vivekanand, principal JR Kushwaha, MLA representative Dinesh Verma, Mahendra Verma, Sitaram Verma, RP Singh and DN Prasad.
