Jamshedpur, September 23: Jharkhand BJP state spokesperson cum former MLA Kunal Sarangi paid a courtesy call on President Draupadi Murmu in New Delhi.
Kunal brought to the notice of the President several demands regarding East Singhbhum district and also requested for the solution of many problems of Jharkhand. The President assured that she will also consider all the issues and will soon consult the departmental ministers for a solution.
The BJP leader requested for the issue of Jharkhandi students studying abroad not getting the scholarship amount, the possibility of starting Chakulia Badamara railway line and making strict rules on harassment of women as well as harassment of men.
The BJP leader requested to start air service in Jamshedpur soon.
Kunal Sarangi urged the President that an industrial city like Jamshedpur is in dire need of a better super specialty medical institution. The entire city is dependent on TMH. On the lines of Balasore in Orissa, a satellite center of AIIMS should be opened in Jamshedpur soon because the distance between Bhubaneswar and Deoghar is quite far.
