JNAC teams to check building maps in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, September 23: The file of passing map of buildings will be reopened after the year 2017 in Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee Area (JNAC).

The investigation will see whether the buildings have been constructed as per the approved plan or not. If any deviation is found in the map, action will be taken against the building owners under the building bylaws.

JNAC special officer cum Dhalbhum SDO Piyush Sinha has formed five teams to inspect the buildings. The team has been asked to submit the status report of all map passed buildings and site inspection within three days.

In seven years, 657 maps have been passed for the construction of houses, flats and establishments. During this period, a total of 866 applications were received, out of which 147 were rejected. According to the provisions of Jharkhand Building Bylaws 2016, it is mandatory to get the map passed by the municipal bodies for new construction. In the last seven years, JNAC received only 13 applications for occupancy certificate.

The selected architects of JNAC only get the map passed.
