KSMS students get fire safety tips

Jamshedpur, April 21: Interact club of Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) observed the fire safety week at the school premises. The interactors spread the message of fire prevention to the children through a PowerPoint presentation.

14 to 20 April is observed as Fire Service Week to commemorate the fire service personnel who laid down their lives during public service. For successful execution of Fire Prevention, the message regarding precautions to be taken by all of us at any place was given by the principal Mrs Nandini Shukla during the morning assembly. The message on fire prevention was also spread during assembly by the safe club members.

During the presentation, members of Interact club shed light on several topics related to Fire Service including- fire triangle, how fires are classified, how to prevent fires, when not to fight fire, how to use an emergency action plan, how to evacuate the burning building, etc.

Fire Prevention education plays a vital role in saving the lives of people and their property. This activity was conducted by Interact club under the supervision of the principal Nandini Shukla .
