Jamshedpur, Nov 15 : A one-day Interschool Fest JOHAR JHARKHAND was conducted by the Jyoti Club of Kerala Samajam Model School on November 15, 2022, to celebrate the Jharkhand Foundation Day.
The fest started off with the lighting of the lamp in the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Saryu Roy, Chairman Mr. K P G Nair, Principal Ms. Nandini Shukla, Vice-Principals – Ms. Rajan Kaur, Mr. A.L. Abraham, Ms. Rina Banerjee, Ms. Sujata Singh and the teacher moderators of the fest Johar Jharkhand – Ms. Sudha Singh and Ms. Amita Nathan.
More than 220 students from 17 schools participated in this fest, competing against each other in 6 events from Quiz to Folk Painting, Photography to Ramp Walk, PowerPoint Presentation to Tableau, etc. It was conducted for the students of classes IX to XII, to give a platform, to the young minds for diverse artistic and cultural expression.
Finally, KPS Gamharia was declared as the Overall Champions and DBMS Kadma High School as the Runner-up.Several other awards were also given:
