Jamshedpur, May 14: Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) organised the Young Scientist Challenge (YSC) in collaboration with the IIT-KGP Alumni Association, reaffirming its commitment to promoting scientific temperament, analytical thinking, and academic excellence among students.
The competition was conducted for students from Classes VI to XII as part of the school’s effort to provide meaningful academic exposure and challenging learning opportunities. As a reward for their outstanding performance and dedication, the top-performing students along with the organising faculty members have been selected for a prestigious one-day educational visit to the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Kharagpur. Scheduled between May 14 and May 22, the visit aims to provide students with firsthand exposure to the academic environment, innovation culture, and advanced infrastructure at IIT-KGP, motivating them to pursue higher studies in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).
The initiative was organised under the banner of KSMS STEM Confluence, guided by Director Academics Nandini Shukla, Principal Rina Banerjee, Headmistress Sujata Singh, Vice Principal AL Abraham, and Registrar Vrinda Suresh.
