Jamshedpur: Potka Circle Officer Dwarika Baitha convened a meeting with the Gram Pradhans of local villages on Sunday to discuss Krishi Ashirwad Yojana. He said the government of Jharkhand had launched the Krishi Ashirwad Yojana on 1st January 2019. Under this scheme, the government would give Rs 5000 per acre of land to each farmer for Kharif crops, he said.
�The main purpose of the scheme is to promote agricultural production in Jharkhand by resolving the issues being faced by the farmers of the state and help the crisis-ridden farmers,� said Baitha.
Baitha said the benefits of the scheme would be given to small and marginalized farmers of the state. He said a Gram Sabha would be held in the 293 villages of Potka block on 21s January with the view to form Raiyat Coordination Committee. The committee will have a chairperson and four members.
