Krira Bharati discusses details of Sports Festival � 2019

Jamshedpur, Aug 25: The East Singhbhum district body of Krira Bharati (KB) today held a meeting at the Gurujat Sangh premises in Sonari to plan for the forthcoming sports festival, Khel Mahotsav � 2019 to be organized between August 29 and October 15. The meeting, chaired by Shiv Shankar Singh was attended by all district officials, the chiefs all sports events and teachers of educational institutions. The meeting discussed the venues of the different games and event schedules. The time and venues of schools� students events, Taekwondo, archery, boxing, kabaddi and football were fixed in the course of the meeting but events like volleyball, kho-kho, weight lifting, tug-o-war and a few other events� schedules could not be made primarily because of the players� examinations and participation in other competitive meets. This year�s Mahotsav events like boxing, kabaddi and Taekwondo would be organized under floodlights to make the events more interesting.

The Khel Mahotsav�s inaugural event would be the yoga competition in various categories in which 250 students are to participate. The Mahotsav will conclude with a get together celebration of coaches, teachers and officials.

Those present at the meeting included Rajiv Kumar, Pradip Jain, Punam Sahay, Dr Ragini Bhushan, Manoranjan Kumar, Chandrashekhar, Satnam Singh, Subhash Kumar, Anup Kumar Singh, Jagdish Kumar, Kundan, Bijendra Singh, Sushil, Amardip, Aman and others.
