KPS Mango: Nurul and Saquib win PN Memon Rolling Trophy

Jamshedpur: In a grand ceremony held on Saturday, Kerala Public School Mango marked its ICSE Academic Prize Day, recognizing the outstanding academic achievements of its students for the 2022-2023 session. The event was a momentous occasion to celebrate the hard work and dedication displayed by students throughout the academic year.

A total of 191 students appeared for the ICSE Examination this session. Notably, the Science Stream boasted 4 toppers, while the Commerce Stream had 7, showcasing the diverse talents within the student body.

Among the subject toppers, 20 students excelled in various disciplines, with English Language and Literature, Hindi, History & Civics, Geography, Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Commercial Studies, Economic Application, and Computer Application all represented.

Talia Afreen secured the first position in the Commerce Stream, followed by Tanisha Kumari in second place and Md. Altamas Alam in third.

In the Science Stream, Mohammad Nurul Abdin and Mohammad Saquib Maroof jointly clinched the top spot. Aqra Sultana secured the second position, while Faria Taskeen claimed the third position. The prestigious Mrs. P. N. Memon Rolling Trophy for ICSE Topper was awarded to Mohammad Nurul Abdin and Mohammad Saquib Maroof.

Special recognitions included the Mrs. Shanti Devi Rolling Trophy for the highest marks in Hindi, awarded to Anjali Kumari, and the Late Ms. Sujata Bose Rolling Trophy for excellence in History & Geography, presented to Aqra Sultana and Bushra Perween.

The dedication of the teachers who trained and prepared the students for the board examinations was acknowledged, with a special felicitation.

Dr. Deepali Misra, the Chief Guest, emphasized the importance of Multiple Intelligence and encouraged students to develop moral values, ethics, and honesty. She highlighted the significance of social engineering and advised parents against imposing their dreams on their children.

Earlier, Principal Rupa Ghosh presented the Annual Report. Vice Principal Usha Rajshekaran delivered the vote of thanks, concluding the successful celebration of academic excellence at Kerala Public School Mango.
