Website and Mascot ‘Aira’ of 2024 Championship launched
Jamshedpur, Dec 10: The Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship 2023 concluded in Jamshedpur on Sunday. Athletes from Korea dominated the proceddings winning most of the events. The closing day witnessed the culmination of intense competition in the final rounds of Lead and Bouldering for both males and females across categories – Youth C & Youth D.

In Lead Youth D Females-Song Ji Yeon of Korea was first, followed by Claire Singh Leyna of Singapore and Kim Doyeon of Korea.

In Bouldering Youth D Females- First prize went to Kim Doyeon of Korea, Song Ji Yeon of Korea was second while Claire Singh Leyna of Singapore won the third prize.

In Lead – Youth D Males- First prize was won by Seo Junseo of Korea, Balasaheb Shedge Rajwardhan of India was second while Tajik Radman of Iran was crowned third.

In Bouldering Youth D Males-First prize was bagged by SEO Junseo of Korea followed by Tajik Darman of Iran and Patro Sagar of India.
In Lead – Youth C Females- First prize was bagged by Kim Gyurin of Korea, Second prize went to Lee Seo Yeon of Korea while third in the list CHO Yunseo of Korea.
Chief Guest of the event Ujjal Chakraborty, Managing Director of JCAPCPL graced the closing ceremony. Also present on the occasion were Sanjay Kr Singh, Chairman of the Sports Advisory Committee; Rasip Inn, General Secretary of the International Federation of Sport Climbing (IFSC) Asia; Mukul Vinayak Choudhari, Chief of Sports Excellence Centres at Tata Steel; and Hemant Gupta, Head of TSAF & Sports Academies.
On the occasion, the website of Tata Steel Sport Climbing Championship 2024 along with mascot for the event named ‘Aira’ was also unveiled.
Amidst the competitive fervor, the indomitable spirit of the participating kids shone through, showcasing not only their athletic prowess but also their resilience and determination. The aura of the TSAF Sport.
Climbing Arena, touted as one of the best in India, provided the perfect backdrop for the young climbers to push their limits and achieve new heights.
As the curtains fall on the Asian Kids Sport Climbing Championship 2023, the memories of this three-day extravaganza will linger, serving as an inspiration for the future generation of climbers and enthusiasts alike.
