Jamshedpur, Dec 10: Kerala Public School (KPS), Mango, organised annual prize distribution ceremony on Tuesday with great enthusiasm in the school premises. The event recognized students who excelled in the ICSE and ISC board examinations.
The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp followed by a prayer. Colonel Vinay Ahuja, Commanding Officer of the 37 Jharkhand Battalion, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Addressing the students, he encouraged them to use their talents and education for the progress of the nation.
Principal Rupa Ghosh presented the school’s annual report, highlighting achievements across academics and co-curricular activities.

Top performers of the ICSE and ISC exams were honoured with trophies and certificates. Maham Akhtar from the Science stream received the prestigious P.N. Menon Rolling Trophy for securing the highest marks in ICSE. Syed Misbah Bashir was awarded for outstanding performance in the Commerce stream.
In the ISC section, Mohammad Nurul Abdin (Pure Science), Akra Sultana (Bioscience), and Soni Agarwal (Commerce) were recognised as stream toppers. Students scoring 90% and above in individual subjects also received special awards.

The celebration featured a colourful cultural performance by girl students, adding vibrancy to the event.
Chairperson Manorama Nair, Director Sharat Chandran, Academic Director Lakshmi R., Vice Principal Usha Rajasekharan, Dr. Kishore Ojha, Coordinator Divya Tiwari, staff, parents and students were present.
