KPS Mango celebrates I-Day with grandeur

Jamshedpur, Aug 16: The 77th Independence Day was joyously celebrated at Kerala Public School Mango, exuding a spirit of grandeur and fervor. The event welcomed distinguished guests, students, faculty members, and staff, collectively commemorating the historic occasion.

Sharat Chandran, Director of KPS School, graced the event as the chief guest.

Addressing the audience, Chandran highlighted the remarkable journey of India’s 77 years since its hard-fought independence. He underscored the nation’s transformation from a country scarred by colonial rule to one standing proudly under the national flag. With a sense of pride, he acknowledged India’s achievements and acknowledged the lessons learned from both triumphs and mistakes.

Chandran pointed out that India’s journey has imparted lessons of tolerance and universal acceptance to the world, establishing the nation as a significant global force. He emphasized that the students of the school have a vital role to play in shaping the nation’s future by thinking positively, making right choices, promoting harmony, and working towards peace.

The presence of Principal  Rupa Ghosh, Vice Principal Usha Rajasekharan, Headmistress Abha Vishwakarma, along with the staff and students of KPS Mango, added an aura of unity to the celebration. The event also welcomed participants from Hindi Project School Mango, including Adiba Mehmood, who delivered a speech on the occasion.

The highlight of the day was a colorful program featuring songs, dances, and a march past presented by the school’s students. The event encapsulated the school’s commitment to nurturing patriotism, promoting positive values, and inspiring students to contribute positively to India’s progress and harmony.
