Jamshedpur, July 2: Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma celebrated Fruits Day on Saturday, July 2 in the school campus.
Students dressed as fruits brought one fruit each. Through enactments and songs, they were aware of the importance of eating fruits regularly. Parents were also in attendance as kids enjoyed the celebration with fun and frolic.
Tiny tots represented the fruits of their choice and by singing fruit rhymes with great zest, enthusiasm and vigour and by enjoying the moments of joy and happiness in the company of their mates and teachers.
Academic Director Lakshmi Sharat, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and headmistress Alamelu Ravishankar thanked the parents for making their kids participate and also acknowledged the hard work done by teachers of the school.
The song sung by students of UKG was just mesmerizing. This was followed by an incredible ramp walk. Next was a ravishing dance performance and a wonderful skit. Pre primary students also presented a choral recitation which was indeed appreciable.
The day ended with a positive message that fruits are essential and a must to be included in our diet.
