KPS Kadma hosts grand Annual Graduation Ceremony 2024-25

Jamshedpur, Jan 21: Kerala Public School Kadma hosted a memorable Annual Graduation Ceremony for the outgoing batch of 2024-25 on 21st January 2025, with Lt. Colonel Gaurav Kumar Mishra as the Chief Guest. Lt. Col. Mishra, a decorated officer with extensive experience in Operation Vijay, Parakram, Rakshak and Hifazat, added prestige to the occasion.

The event began with a sacred prayer, invoking blessings from the Almighty, followed by a soulful welcome song in honour of the esteemed Chief Guest. The ceremony was formally inaugurated with the lighting of the lamp by Lt. Col. Mishra, alongside the school’s dignitaries: Sharat Chandran, Director of KPS Schools; Sharmila Mukherjee, Principal and Alamelu Ravishankar, Headmistress. The lighting of the lamp symbolized the illumination of knowledge and new beginnings for the graduates.

In her inspiring address, Principal Mukherjee urged the students to embrace responsibility, resilience and excellence as they embark on their future journeys. “Let this day mark not just the end of one chapter, but the beginning of your pursuit of success, service and fulfilment,” she said, motivating the graduates.

Director Chandran further emphasized the significance of living a life of empathy and compassion, stressing the importance of serving others in their communities. He encouraged the students to remain true to the values instilled by the school and uphold the responsibility that comes with their newfound freedom.

The ceremony proceeded with the Oath of Dedication, during which the students pledged to carry forward the spirit of hard work and dedication. Special awards were presented to students for their exceptional achievements in academics, sports and extracurricular activities. Nisha Patar, who won a Gold Medal in the CISCE National Boxing Championship and Asmit Kumar, the National Boxing Champion, were also recognized for their extraordinary accomplishments.

Lt. Col. Mishra addressed the students, offering his best wishes for their future endeavors. “Success will come to those who dare to dream and work hard to turn those dreams into reality,” he remarked. The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Headmistress Ravishankar, followed by a rousing rendition of the National Anthem, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all present.
