KPS Kadma celebrates May Day

Jamshedpur, May 2: Kerala Public School Kadma conducted May Day celebration’ on May 1 with great zeal.

The celebration commenced with the prayer song followed by the melodious song presented by the talented choir group. The school celebrated the day by paying respect to support staff members of the school. The children expressed gratitude by giving handmade cards to the support staff of the school. Speeches narrated by primary, high school and Project School Hindi Medium students filled the atmosphere with fervor.

Principal Sharmila Mukherjee addressed the gathering and stated that teachers must teach the children to have gratitude in heart for those who serve them and this day reminds us to be kind and respectful towards all those who help us on daily basis. She highlighted the contribution made by the support staff members in keeping the school environment safe and clean for the students. The support staff members were overwhelmed watching the programme and expressed their gratitude towards the school management, teachers and students.

The support staff Padma Didi and Sudhanshu Bhaiya shared their experiences of working at Kerala Public School Kadma.

 Headmistress Mrs AlameluRavishankar concluded the programme by expressing the word of gratitude by paying respect to the priceless contribution of the support staff members for the smooth functioning of the institution.

A special day never ends without a sumptuous, delicious feast. The management arranged for a lunch followed by taking them to a movie at the P&M mall. They were extremely grateful to the school management for making their day special.

The programe was designed to instill a better understanding of the labour community among the students who must learn to respect and appreciate their efforts and understand the dignity of labour.

Labour Day is a reminder for us that these are the real architects of our society and they deserve their due respect.
