Jamshedpur, April 4: The Pre-Primary segment of Kerala Public School (KPS) Kadma came together to celebrate “Hand Wash Day” on Tuesday, April 4 to spread the message of healthy living.
The programme was inaugurated by the Principal of the school Mrs Sharmila Mukherjee. On the occasion Principal of the school Mrs. Sharmila Mukherjee spoke to the students about the benefits of clean and germ free hands and motivated each child by making everyone believe that Prevention is better than cure.
The teachers took the initiative to publicize the values of hygiene and health. A video was shown to the students in which they were taught the different steps of how to wash their hands. The students were guided by the teachers to the tap area to wash hands and stressed on the usage of dabbing hands dry with a towel.
The teachers and coordinators of the school also supported the cause and became an integral part of the programme by washing their hands.
The Director of the school Sharat Chandran, Principal Mrs. Sharmila Mukherjee and Vice Principal Mrs.Harmit Pal of the school appreciated the noble initiative and lauded each one who was a part of it.
Coordinators Mrs Almelu Ravishankar and Shalini Sethi were also present at the event.
