Jamshedpur, July 18: The Pre-Primary Wing of KPS Kadma celebrated Fruit Day on Tuesday with great zest and enthusiasm. The event, held from 8:30am to 9:30am at the Swapan Auditorium, aimed to promote healthy eating habits and raise awareness about the nutritional benefits of fruits.
The tiny tots participated joyfully, representing their favourite fruits and singing fruit rhymes. The celebration began with the lighting of the lamp, followed by heartfelt thanks from Sharmila Mukherjee, Principal, and Alamelu Ravishankar, Headmistress, who appreciated the parents’ support and the teachers’ hard work. Also in attendance was Sangeetha Samant, Chief Qeri of Kerala Public School.
Highlights of the event included a mesmerizing song by UKG students, a speech on the importance of fruits, a choral recitation, a skit, an incredible ramp walk, and a ravishing dance performance. The event concluded with a positive message from Ms. Alamelu Ravishankar on the essential role of fruits in our diet, a vote of thanks by Tr Shashi Rekha, and the singing of the National Anthem.
