KPS Kadma bids farewell to 161 class XII students

Jamshedpur, Jan. 30: Kerala Public School (KPS), Kadma organized the annual graduation nite for the outgoing students of class XII in its premises.

The program commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the school Director, Sharat Chandran, Asst. Director Shanta Vaidyanathan, Academic Director Lakshmi Sharat, Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Headmistress K. Jaishree.

This was followed by an invocation prayer song.
Thereafter, the Principal, Sharmila Mukherjee lit the auspicious torch which was then passed on to the students, who then participated in the candle march in true KPS spirit. 161 students were giving mementos and certificates for the contribution to academics and co- curricular activities.

Several students received special appreciation (certificates) for their outstanding contribution to the school during the academic year 18-19.

Ankita Verma received the award for constantly good academic performance and literary achievements. Chandan Nag was awarded for sports at the National and the International Level. Chandraneel Sen and Shubham Agarwal bagged the award at the National and International Scientific Meet (Quanta 2018).

The Director Sharat Chandran and the Principal Sharmila Mukherjee gave inspiring messages to the students, emphasizing the values of integrity, loyalty, commitment, care and concern for others, which Kerala Public School stands for.

These words of wisdom will no doubt stand the students in good stead in their future endeavors. The evening drew to a close with the Headmistress, K. Jaishree proposing the vote of thanks.
