Kerala bhajan singer and troupe captivate audience

Jamshedpur: As part of the 71st Saastha Preethi Celebrations, the pujas commenced with customary Havan for Lord Ganapati at Dharma Saastha Temple, Bistupur on Wednesday. Lord Narayana and Goddess Lakshmi were installed in the form of Kalash. After the installation, Havan was performed with Maha Sudarshana moola mantra, Lord Dhanwantari Moola mantra, Lord Narasimha moola mantra.

In the havan, ghee, Yellow dal, samit, payas were offered. Later on poornahuti was conducted followed by Vasordhara in which continuous pouring of ghee with 3 times chanting of Purusha sooktam. In the havan various types of fruits, coconuts filled with honey, kumkum, chandan, dry fruits were offered. At the end of the havan, Maha arati was shown and after all this Uttaranga puja was conducted and Kalash Abhishek was performed for Lord Dharma Saastha. Today hundreds of devotees thronged the temple who were offered Prasad by the members of the managing committee. In the evening, Sri Manjapra Mohan, a noted bhajan singer from Kerala along with his troupe performed in the temple premises which captivated the audience.
