Kolhan University teachers transfer soon

Jamshedpur, October 30: Teachers of Jamshedpur Kolhan University will soon be transferred.

Teachers from PG department to constituent college will be included in this.

 The university has started preparations for the transfer. Besides this, HoDs of many departments will also be appointed. Letters have been sought from teachers regarding this. HOD will be appointed in the department on the basis of seniority.

Apart from this, deputation of teachers in all colleges will also be cancelled. After Diwali, the university is considering taking an important decision. The decision will be taken unanimously by the Transfer Committee.

This time a proposal to transfer about 15 teachers has come to the university. In this, many teachers have written letters demanding transfer from the university. Those letters are also being considered.

However, till now it has not been officially confirmed which college’s teachers will be transferred. But according to the source, many teachers of Co-operative College, Jamshedpur will be transferred.

Besides, removal of the principal in-charge of some colleges is also being considered.

It has also been decided to transfer need-based teachers working in the college. Now, on the basis of need, those teachers will also have to work in those colleges where the number of students is high and there is a huge shortage of teachers. There are many colleges in rural areas.

The tenure of more than half of the HODs in the PG department of Kolhan University has ended. But those HODs have not been removed yet.
