Jamshedpur, Oct 21: In response to the cancellation of the previous PhD entrance examination (KUPT-2022), Kolhan University has unveiled a new schedule for the upcoming examination following instructions from Raj Bhavan. The examination is scheduled to take place on December 3rd. In conjunction with this announcement, a core committee has been constituted, with the Vice Chancellor at the helm, to oversee the examination and manage the admissions process. The online application process for the examination is now open, with a deadline of November 3rd.
The core committee, responsible for both examination and admissions, will be chaired by the University’s Vice Chancellor. Additionally, it includes other key officials, including the Director of Student Welfare (DSW), and the university’s NAAC coordinator as the member secretary. Preparations are underway for the examination application process. However, the official notification does not address the status of candidates who participated in the previous examination, which was recently canceled on Raj Bhavan’s directives. The university has announced that such candidates will be eligible to apply at no cost.
