Jamshedpur, July 23: Taking an important decision in the interest of the students, Kolhan University has extended the last date for admission and registration in undergraduate and other courses through Chancellor Portal.
University spokesperson Dr. Ashok Kumar Jha gave this information and said that admission can be taken till 2nd August.
Dr. Jha said that the interested students who applied till 23rd July through the Chancellor Portal will now be able to get their admission and registration done till 2nd August. Earlier the last date was 23rd July, which has now been extended to provide additional time to the students.
He said that the dean students welfare (DSW) of Kolhan University, Dr. Sanjay Yadav, has issued a notification in this regard and directed the principals of all the affiliated colleges to complete the process of verification of all the necessary documents related to the admission and registration of the students by 2nd August. Along with this, the colleges have also been instructed to submit all the documents related to the admission and registration of the newly enrolled students to the DSW office located in the university by 11th August.
Significantly, university administration has also given relief to those students who had not applied on the Chancellor Portal earlier or who wanted to change their subject. For such students, the Chancellor Portal was opened till 23 July. Now keeping in mind the student interest, this date has been extended further and the Chancellor Portal has been reopened till 2 August. This will benefit a large number of students who could not apply earlier due to some reason.
