Over 15K Apply for UG Courses at Kolhan University; PG Admissions Now Open

Jamshedpur: Kolhan University has kicked off its enrolment process for the new academic session. The university has already received nearly 15,000 applications for undergraduate (UG) courses, while postgraduate (PG) courses are seeing immediate interest from students following the launch of online applications. University authorities have released a detailed PG admission schedule and instructed students to submit their applications well in time.

Strong Response: 14,948 UG Applications, PG Off to an Enthusiastic Start

For the 2025–27 academic session, Kolhan University has received 14,948 applications for undergraduate courses through the Chancellor Portal so far. Meanwhile, the online admission process for the first semester of postgraduate courses, which commenced on June 24, has already recorded 68 applications.

University Releases Complete PG Admission Schedule

The university administration has announced the detailed schedule for PG Semester 1 admissions:

• Last Date for Online Application: July 11, 2026
• Publication of First Merit List: July 15, 2026
• Admission of Selected Students: July 15 to July 24, 2026
• Commencement of New Academic Classes: August 10, 2026

Don’t Wait Until the Deadline, Advises Administration

The university administration has urged students not to wait until the final deadline to submit their forms. Applying early will help students avoid heavy portal traffic and potential technical glitches that typically occur during the final hours.
