Jamshedpur, June 4: Jharkhand State President of Janata Dal United (JDU) and newly nominated Rajya Sabha MP Khiru Mahto arrived in Ranchi on Saturday and was given a warm welcome in the old Assembly Hall by a delegation of the party’s Kolhan Region comprising Jamshedpur Mahanagar and Saraikela-Kharsawan district units led by the party’s state general secretary Kaushal Kumar. The workers expressed happiness over his nomination and thanked Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for it. Interacting with JDU members of Kolhan Region, Khiru Mahto directed all party workers to concentrate on making the party stronger. He also directed Kaushal Kumar to organize maximum programs as per party guidelines and project the principles and policies of RJD among the general masses. A large number of RJD leaders and workers, including Anil Singh, Paramjit Srivastava, Vishram Prasad, Vishram Munda, Nirmal Singh, Ajay Kumar, Roshan Kumar Sharma and Bittu Dubey went to Ranchi to welcome the newly appointed MP Khiru Mahto.
