KL University launches ₹100 crore merit scholarship poster in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur: KL Deemed to be University on Saturday launched its ₹100 crore merit scholarship poster during a special educational and motivational programme held at a hotel in Bistupur. The event focused on holistic youth development, professional growth, innovation, and nation building.

The programme was inaugurated by Jugsalai MLA Mangal Kalindi, who attended as the chief guest. Addressing students and educators, Kalindi described education, innovation, and character building as the pillars of a strong future for both the state and the country. He emphasised that focused efforts on higher education, skill development, and innovation are crucial for long-term social and economic progress, especially for the youth.

The key objectives of the event included the formal launch of the ₹100 crore merit scholarship initiative, highlighting the role of young people in state and national development, and spreading awareness about higher education opportunities, career planning, employment prospects, and innovation-driven learning. The programme also aimed to encourage students to pursue personality development and professional excellence.

KL Deemed to be University, which has a legacy of 46 years in higher education, is known for its focus on quality education, research, and innovation. As per the latest NIRF rankings, the university is placed 26th among top universities in India.

Senior officials from KL University, including Dr. J. Srinivas Rao, Director (Admissions), faculty members, and organisers, were present. At the conclusion, State Head Vikram Sharma and regional managers informed students that they can contact university experts for career guidance and academic counselling.
