Kisan Panchayat held in Gudabanda

Jamshedpur: A farmers� panchatyat was organized in Angarpara village of Gudabandha on Wednesday. Former state BJP president Dr Dineshanand Goswami presided over the event. He said there were immense possibilities for farming in Gudabandha. He said deep boring would be done in the various villages of the block with the view to help the farmers irrigate their farms. He said vegetable farming was also a lucrative option for the local farmers. He said the Central government had started many schemes with the aim of doubling farmers� income. Lead Bank Manager Falguni Rai was also present at the panchayat. She spoke on Kisan Credit Card and its benefits. Many other dignitaries were present on the occasion. They included Ratan Lal Agrawal, Yamini Kant Mahato, Sidharth Shankar Basa, Gaur Patra, Ratan Lal Agrawal, Sugda Mandi, Raju Baraju Basuri, Ranjeet Bala and Sudip Patnayak.
