Kids made aware of water conservation

JCI’s two-day summer camp concludes

Jamshedpur, June 2: JCI Jamshedpur Royals organised summer camp for underprivilged kids of Domuhani region on Sunday.

On the concluding day of the free summer camp kids were made aware not to waste water and what our future generation has to go through during water scarcity. 

President Tara Kishore Agarwal said that JCI continued with its agenda to empower future generation about important life skills that are often left out in schools.

Kids were taught about the understanding and importance of good habits and personal hygiene. They were also told about road safety. They were also told to be more serious about their future and made them aware about their opportunities through a career counseling session. 

Origami was taught as a part of art and craft development in kids. They were shown how to make a usable bag out of waste paper. They were also taught about how to reduce water wastage in daily use. With such sessions, members of JCI-JR hoped to make them aware of recycling and reusing. Other fun activities included four corners, spoon race, talent contest and a dance competition and a photo shoot. 

JCI also distributed prizes for drawing completion that was conducted yesterday. Vivek Agarwal, Vikash Agarwal, Sunny Jain, Anant Mohanka, Gitesh Singhal, Harsh Bhauka, Anubhav Khetan, Ritesh Agarwal and Gaurav Sah were the members present
