Khilonewala to provide toys on rent for Steel City kids

Jamshedpur, Jan. 29: There is some good news for the parents who remain worried by the never ending demand of their children for getting new books, costly toys and compact disks every month. Costly toys will now be available for rent.

Steel City of Jamshedpur got its first toy library on Sunday. Khilonewala, India�s No. 1 Toy Library, which is popular elsewhere in the country opened its new centre in the city and would rent out toys, games, books, CD’s, VCD’s and outdoor games to kids of age group between 1 to 12 years.

Chief Guest for the occasion social worker Beli Bodhanwala inaugurated the office and later the exhibition at Chamber Bhawan, Bistupur on Sunday.

Present on the occasion were Suresh Sonthalia, President of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce, social worker Ruby Bodhanwala, Banwari Lal Sonthalia, Sourabh Sonthalia, Dinesh Choudhary, Shambhu Khanna, local franchisee owner Payal Sonthalia and others. The exhibition was inaugurated at 12 noon and continued till 9 pm where 500 families along with their kids visited.

Khilonewala’s office is at 4, D’Costa Road, first floor, Sonthalia Mansion in Bistupur. The centre will remain open from 11.30am to 1.30pm and in the evening from 5.30 pm to 8 pm.

On the occasion talking to the media persons, Payal Sonthalia said, Khilonewala is a toy library, which for a subscription, will give you access to more toys and other entertainment materials for kids than you or the kids can imagine.

Khilonewala is running successfully in more than 20 cities across the country. ‘Toys, games, books, CD’s, VCD’s and outdoor games including 500 plus items for kids of age group between 1 to 12 years is available.

The launch exhibition of Khilonewala library where 500 plus toys, books and CDs will be displayed under one roof’, said Payal, adding, ‘Rs 500 will be charged for registration of name after which toys can be availed on rent.

Home delivery facility is available for free. Branded toys ranging from Rs 300 to Rs 3000 is available but a minimal charge will be taken if toys are damaged’.
