Kharkai and Subarnarekha levels rise, relief camps in Jamshedpur’s Mango

Jamshedpur, August 2: The water level of Kharkai and Subarnarekha river has increased due to continuous rains in Jamshedpur for the last 48 hours. In view of which the district administration is on an alert mode.

Due to the continuous rising water level of Kharkai river, the water level of Subarnarekha river is also increasing. In view of this, camps have been set up by the Mango Municipal Corporation for the flood victims to stay at many places.

In view of the continuous increase in the water level of the river, a control room has been set up in Mango Municipal Corporation to deal with flood and emergency. The control room will provide cooperation to the people by establishing coordination in all the three wards. Four officials have been posted in the control room.
