Jamshedpur: The election of Akhil Bharatiya Khandelwal Vaisya Mahasabha national president will be held after Deepawali this year. The electin procession has begun. An election commission has been set up for this purpose. Ghanshyam Rawat of Jaipur has been made the chief election commissioner for this election.
Mahendra Kayathwal and Rajesh Dangayach of Delhi have been elected assistant election commissioners. A fund of Rs 20 lakh would be spent on conducting the election. This was informed on Friday by the national vice president of the outfit Ashok Kumar Khandelwal on Friday. He said the said decisions were taken at the two-day long meeting of the outfit’s working committee held in Kota recently.
According to the vice president, many issues pertaining to the welfare of Khandelwal community were discussed at length during the recently held working committee meet. Numerous suggestions were made by the members for the progress of the 105 year old organization.
Khandelwal said a book on Akhil Bharatiya Khandelwal Vaisya Mahasabha was released in Kota. He said the outfit was going to launch a national plantation drive on 15th August. All members have been requested to participate in the plantation drive and make it hugely successful, he said.
