Jamshedpur : Kantilal Gandhi Memorial Hospital (Medica Jamshedpur) is completing a year in the service of people of Jamshedpur.
On the occasion of its 1st Anniversary Chief Minister of Jharkhand Shri Raghubar Das will inaugurate the hospital’s CT & MRI Unit, the latest addition to KGMH’s advanced diagnostic service facilities, on February 14.
On 14th February, 2014, the hospital will open doors of in its new avatar as Medica Jamshedpur, with the promise of bringing world class treatment and care to city’s doorsteps, without compromising on the affordability which has always been the USP of KGMH.
Today KGMH is well established as a 150-bed multi-specialty healthcare facility providing advanced care using the latest technology in the areas of Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology Obstetrics & Gynaecology, ENT, Eye, Orthopaedics, Urology, Pulmonology, Plastic Surgery, Neurosurgery and Gastroenterology. The hospital provides round the clock emergency services and has 29-bed state-of the art critical care unit. The advanced dialysis Unit of KGMH has so far provided the therapy to 650 patients.
Among the many firsts we introduced in advanced healthcare in the city was the Holmium Laser, the latest technology for treating Prostate Enlargement & Kidney Stones.
The diagnostic facilities, equipped with the most modern equipment, are set to receive a boost with the latest addition, the CT & MRI unit.
The 6 modern Operation Theatres fitted with Hepa Filters and Laminar Flow facility, are customised for advanced procedures like complex Neurosurgeries and Knee Replacement Surgeries.
During the past year the hospital catered to 47,542 outdoor patients and 4,684 indoor patients, while 2,157 successful Surgeries were also performed.
