Jamshedpur, July 22: A pickup van hit a cyclist near Gadhabasa under Golmuri police station. Nagendra Murmu, a resident of Karandih, a bicycle rider, was seriously injured in this incident. After executing the incident, the driver fled fast with the vehicle. Local people took Nagendra to MGM Hospital for treatment where doctors declared him dead after examination. Nagendra was a sweeper at the Kerala Samajam Model School (KSMS) in Golmuri. At the time of the incident, he was going towards the school on his bicycle. Local people told that he was going to school from Burmamines side. Then a pickup van hit him from behind near Gadhabasa, due to which he fell on the middle of the road and got injured.
