Jamshedpur, Sep 5: Kerala Public School, Kadma, held an elaborate Teachers’ Day celebration on September 5, 2024, honouring the exceptional educators from KPS Kadma, Gamharia, Mango, INCAB, Gandhi Maidan, and Project School Kadma and Mango. The event recognized the dedication and passion of teachers who play a crucial role in shaping the future of students.
The ceremony began with a warm welcome by Director Sharat Chandran Nair to Chief Guest Dr. Sharat Sarin, a retired professor from XLRI. The traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge, was performed by Chairperson Manorama Nair, Dr. Sharat Sarin, Lakshmi Nair, and Founder Principal Shanta Vaidyanathan.
The event featured a soulful prayer song by KPS Kadma teachers, setting a reflective tone. Chairperson Manorama Nair praised the tireless dedication of teachers, followed by a group song by KPS INCAB that celebrated unity and joy. Mrs. Vaidyanathan’s inspiring speech highlighted the transformative power of education.
The celebration included dynamic dance performances by teachers from KPS Gamharia, Mango, and Kadma, showcasing their creativity and enthusiasm. Gifts were presented to teachers as tokens of appreciation, with special recognition for female teachers from KPS Kadma, Gamharia, and Mango, and other teachers receiving acknowledgments from various dignitaries.
The event concluded with an uplifting address by Dr. Sarin and a heartfelt vote of thanks by Principal Sharmila Mukherjee. This grand celebration underscored the profound impact of teachers and their pivotal role in education.
