Kasidih High School hosts Inter-School Photography Competition, Fotografia 2024

Jamshedpur, August 17: Kasidih High School hosted the annual inter-school photography competition, Fotografia 2024, which saw participation from 17 schools across Jamshedpur. The event was inaugurated by A.F. Madon, Administrator of JEM Foundation, who lit the ceremonial lamp, followed by a vibrant cultural program.

The competition was divided into two categories: Product Photography and Mirror Photography. Students showcased their skills in both areas, which were judged by prominent local photographers Inderjeet Singh Chawla, Manjit Singh Chawla, Shweta Mundhra, and Shivam Gupta.

Govind Vidyalaya secured the first prize in the Product Photography category, while J.H. Tarapore School won the second prize. In the Mirror Photography category, Kerala Public School Burmamines took the top prize, with Baldwin Farm Area High School earning the second prize. All participants received certificates of participation.

In his concluding remarks, Principal Francis Joseph emphasized the importance of such events in skill development under the New Education Policy, highlighting photography as a valuable career skill. The event was organized by the Kasidih High School Photography Club, led by Shania Nanra, Dipti Rani Mishra, and other dedicated members. Notable guests included school moderators and Jiju Thomas, Senior Manager at JEM Foundation.
