Karimia students visits Atomic Energy Dept

Jamshedpur: The plus two girl students of Central Karimia High School paid a visit at Department of Atomic Energy Khasmahal under its annual excursion.

The tour was organized under the leadership of Dr Ale Ali teacher of the school. The visiting team comprised teachers including Hafiz Arif, Kwaja Mujib, Kutubuddin, Talat Begum, Jinat Naz and Jamila Khatun.

Officials of Atomic Energy Directorate scientists Arjun Panda and MK Shandilya apprised the students about activities of the department.

Jharkhand Academic Council in its practical geology course has included some topics. The college management has given a project to the students on the issue of atomic pollution on which there are misconceptions among people which are required to be eliminated.

The girl students also visited chemistry, remote sensing, physics and geology labs.

Scientist Dr Ajay Kumar informed the students about minerals found in Jharkhand.
