Karim City�s Satrang concludes on buoyant note

Jamshedpur, Dec 17: Week long Satrang, the annual event of Karim City College organized by Society for Promotion of Art and Culture (SPArC) concluded on Tuesday at the college premises.

The last event started with �Sursangat�, were 23 students participated and presented singing talent at Sufi, Western, Folk, classical and ghazal genre. Judges present were Krishna Sinha, Subha Mukherjee, Rizwanujamma and Gunjesh Kumar Mishra.

The winners of the event were felicitated. In the films songs category Ikrandim was the winner while Prabhjot Singh was the runners up. In Western songs Shama Khan was the winner while Raushan Prateek was the runner-up.

In Sufi Prabhjot Singh was the winner, Manisha Upadhyay was the runners-up. In Ghazal Ikrandeem was winner followed by Smita Sahu. In Classical category Ajay Kumar Rai was the winner while Smita Sahu was the runners�up.

At the concluding ceremony Chief Guest was Prof. Shaligram Yadav were Principal of the college Dr. Md. Zakaria was present.

Report of the whole program was presented by SPArC Chief Organising Secretary, S Jai Laxmi. The chief guest felicitated winners of various events held over the week.

The students on the occasion presented cultural program. At the event SPArC magazine �SPArClingspan� was also unveiled.
