Karim City College Psychology Dept welcomes freshers

Jamshedpur, Sept 13: The Psychology Department of Karim City College (KCC), Sakchi, organized a welcome party for freshers who have enrolled in the four-year undergraduate program with Psychology as their main subject.

During the welcome ceremony, KCC Principal, Dr Md Reyaz praised the Psychology Department and its faculty. He emphasized that discipline was the basis of complete education. “Always show respect and gratitude to your teachers, parents and elders. It is their dedication, care and affection that pave the way for the completeness of your education pursuits.”

Chief Examination Controller of KCC, Dr BN Tripathi highlighted the paradox where students often spent hours preparing for exams but struggled to sit down and study for extended periods. He advised students, “Distance yourselves from excessive use of Google and instead, focus on enhancing your knowledge through books and teachers.”

Dr Md Firoz Ibrahimi addressing the students, urged them to be honest with themselves and develop the capacity to outperform their examiners through hard work and dedication.

The function saw the presence of department professors Dr S Panda, Dr Udham Singh, Dr Zaki Akhtar, Jamshed and Sajid Parvez, along with the Faculty in charge, Dr Anwar Shahab, Chief Examination Controller Dr BN Tripathi, Department Head Dr Md Firoz Ibrahimi and KCC Principal, Dr Md Reyaz.

The function concluded with the new and current students greeting one another and celebrating the occasion together.
