Jamshedpur, July 7: Karim City College (KCC) Teachers’ Association and KCC Staff Union jointly organized a farewell function for Prof Ahmad Badr of the Urdu Department and Joy Banerjee, the Lab In-charge of Physics Department. They were presented tokens of love and appreciation.
Prof Ahmad Badr is a renowned literary figure and poet. He joined the Urdu Department of Karim City College as a professor in 2003. He served as professor for 20 years. Joy Mukherjee put in 10 years of service. Prof Badr and Joy Banerjee were praised for their commendable services.
KCC Principal, Dr Mohammad Reyaz, while lauding the services of retiring Prof Badr and joy Banerjee, presented them shawls and mementos in appreciation. Dr MM Nazri President of the Teachers’ Association and Dr Anwar Sahab, Secretary spoke in appreciation of the retiring members. The programme was anchored by Prof of Psychology Dept Dr Zaki Akhtar. Head of the Department of Mass Communication, Dr Neha Tiwari offered the vote of thanks.
