Kandra police recover stolen truck parked on NH 33

Jamshedpur, July 17: The Kandra police led by OC Ramesh Kumar Singh today recovered a stolen truck bearing registration number NL 01 1261, parked in front of a line hotel, Yash Hotel on NH 33 and arrested Pashupati Mahto who had stolen the vehicle.

Kandra police station Officer-in-Charge Ramesh Kumar Singh said that the truck had brought in goods from Haldia in West Bengal for delivery at Adhunik Plant in Kandra. After unloading the goods, the truck driver parked his vehicle near a hotel at Kandra Morh at 5 am on Monday for having breakfast and taking rest. When he came out of the hotel, he found the truck missing and immediately informed the Kandra police. Coincidentally, the driver�s mobile had been left in the truck�s cabin. This enabled the police to track the location of the truck and with help from the technical cell, a police team set out for the location where they found the truck parked in front of Yash Hotel near NH 33.

The police team led by Kandra PS OC Ramesh Kumar Singh included Munshi Pashupati Raut, ASIs Hemesal Murmu and Jai Prakash Singh along with police jawans.  An FIR has been filed under case number 35/19 of July 17, 2019.
