Kadma KD Flat Road Closure Sparks Public Outcry, Memorandum Submitted to DC

Jamshedpur: The closure of the main road at Kadma KD Flat has become a contentious issue once again, with pressure building on the Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner, Ananya Mittal, to take action. Sanjeev Acharya, convener of Jharkhand Kranti Sena and Sarva Daliya Jan Ekta Manch, met with the Deputy Commissioner and submitted a memorandum demanding answers regarding the prolonged closure of the road.

Acharya questioned the reasons behind the closure, asking whether it was done under the orders of the Deputy Commissioner or if it occurred without her knowledge. He also sought clarification on the legal basis for the closure and requested to know when the road would be reopened for public use.

Acharya expressed frustration over the lack of progress despite continuous correspondence over the past 11 months. He warned that if the issue is not addressed promptly, the local residents and public representatives would be forced to stage a protest and surround both the Deputy Commissioner’s office and the Tata Steel UISL office.

The closure of the KD Flat road has caused significant inconvenience to the residents of Kadma, and Acharya urged the authorities to take swift action to resolve the matter.
