Ranchi, Feb 15: In a reshuffle of party leadership, Congress National President Mallikarjun Kharge has appointed K. Raju as the new in-charge of Jharkhand Congress. This announcement was made by Satish Paul Munjani, Chairman of the Media Department of the State Congress.
Raju, who is currently the National Coordinator of the SC-ST-OBC-Minority Department of Congress, will take charge of Jharkhand at a critical time for the state. Hailing from Hyderabad and a former IAS officer, Raju is known for his strong organizational skills and is considered a close aide of Rahul Gandhi.
Munjani expressed confidence in Raju’s leadership, stating, “His experience will strengthen the Congress in Jharkhand and ensure its success in upcoming elections.” K. Raju replaces Ghulam Ahmed Mir, who was previously made in-charge in December 2023.
