K. N Tripathy files nomination at Chatra, CM claims INDIA clean sweep in Jharkhand

Chatra, April 30: INDIA bloc candidate K. N Tripathi filed his nomination from Chatra for Lok Sabha elections 2024 on Tuesday.

Before this, a public meeting was held in the ground in front of Chatra College.

Chief minister Champai Soren addressing the rally said that BJP-led NDA’s account will not be opened in Jharkhand and INDIA bloc will win all 14 Lok Sabha seats in the state. He appealed to ensure victory of KN Tripathi with huge votes.

“Even in Jharkhand Assembly elections 2019, BJP had given the slogan of crossing 65 seats, but the public restricted it to 25 seats only. The slogan of crossing 400 seats has been given in the Lok Sabha elections, but it will not be able to cross even 150 seats,” claimed Soren.

Champai Soren said that development work was not done in the villages adopted by the MPs under the Adarsh Gram Yojana.

He alleged that BJP is handing over everything to private companies. Before 2014, BJP used to oppose inflation, but as soon as it came to power, inflation started increasing in the country. People are suffering from inflation.

Terming BJP as a dictatorial government which needs to be overthrown. Champai said that BJP is considering ending the reservation policy.

Candidate KN Tripathi, filed his nomination before District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Ramesh Gholap.

The nomination was attended by state finance minister Rameshwar Oraon, rural development minister Alamgir Alam, labor minister Satyanand Bhogta, Latehar MLA Baijnath Ram, Barkagaon MLA Amba Prasad, Congress state president Rajesh Thakur and others.
