Collective cleaning drive in Tangrain Village

Jamshedpur, April 30:  Residents of Tangrain Village including children, elders, and youth, displayed remarkable enthusiasm as they united for a collective cleaning drive. Led by Utkrisht Madhya Vidyalaya, the initiative aimed to enhance cleanliness across the village, addressing every street corner and the bathing ghat complex of the main pond.

Commencing at 5 am, the campaign was spearheaded by educator and social worker Jaihari Singh Munda, emphasizing the significance of cleanliness for a healthy environment. Tangrain Madhya Vidyalaya Principal, Arvind Kumar Tiwari stressed the importance of instilling cleanliness as a habit among children, ensuring its continuity through student-led efforts at regular intervals.

The event saw participation from various members of the community, including educationists, local leaders, and social workers, underlining the collective commitment towards fostering a clean environment. Notable persons in the drive included Dr. Subal Das, Gram Pradhan Mangal Pan, and teachers Rajiv Singh and Amal Dixit among others.
