Potka: District vice president of Jharkhand Vikas Morcha Manoj Sardar on Tuesday joined Congress in the presence of former MP cum national spokesperson of Congress Dr Ajoy Kumar and district president of Congress Vijay Khan.
Dr Ajoy also welcomed Jiten Munda to the party. He garlanded the new members and asked them to work sincerely for the party.
Speaking on the occasion, Manoj Sardar said he had joined Congress with the view to work for the people of the district.
Many party leaders were present during the function. They included Laddu Pandey, Anupam Sinha, Tapan Mandal, Sourabh Chatterjee, Kokil Bhakta, Dukhnimaya Sardar, Thakur Soren, Shankar Chatterjee and Somen Mandal.
