JVM ready to be a part of Third Front: Pravin Singh

Jamshedpur: Jharkhand Vikas Morcha general secretary Pravin Singh today said the Congress party was going to become history at the end of Parliamentary elections. He said Congress was not going to win a single seat in the polls. He was speaking to scribes at the partys election office at Rajasthan Bhavan, Bistupur, on Sunday.

The JVM leader said there was a direct fight between JVM and BJP on all 14 Parliamentary constituencies of the state. JVM is going to register a landslide win on all the 14 seats. In the event of winning all or majority of seats, the JVM will not go with either BJP or Congress. There is no chance of entering an alliance with these two parties as JVM is not going to compromise with its stand and values with which it is contesting the election, he said, adding further, If the situation arises, we are ready to become a part of the third front if it gets a chance to form government at the Centre.

Singh sought to bring the attention of the people to various points of distinction between the JVM and the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in what seemed to be a defence of charges on JVM president Babulal Marandi leveled by his opponents for having a soft corner for the RSS.

RSS cadets wear half pant while JVM members do not wear half pant. RSS is an outfit based in Nagpur while JVM is based in Chhotanagpur. Besides there are many points of differences, said Singh.

The JVM leader, replying to a question of Marandis old BJP connections, said there was not a distant chance of the latter ever joining the saffron party in future.
